Agrarius.Born in Scotland. Raised by his eldest brother after his father’s early death and mother’s neglect. Worked as an infantry officer for the British military, then as a tailor following a combat injury. Publications include political poems, essays, and pamphlets, with the most well-known being Equality (1832) and Letters of Agrarius, a series of letters published in The Man throughout his active years.
