In the Choir

Figure descriptions
A congregation gathers in a church. Most of the congregation sits in rows of chairs, but an elderly woman wearing frayed, dark clothing stands beside one of the rows. The woman bows her head and uses her hands to fasten her shawl at her chest. She inadvertently stands on the corner of a young woman’s dress. The woman looks down and attempts to tug her garment free. A small prayer book lies on the seat beside her. There is a cylindrical column behind the old woman with a decorative plate and a donation box. Sunlight streams into the church from stained glass windows. Full-page illustration contained within a single-ruled border.
