Figure descriptions
Illustrated poem page is divided into two sections. In the larger, main section, daffodils
grow from the ground. There are
leaves in the foreground. The main section of the illustration is partially contained
within a thick, shaded border. The second
section of the illustration is inset into the center of the main illustration, occupying
approximately one third of the page. It is
contained within a rectangular, single-ruled border. Some of the daffodils from the
main section of the illustration break the
border along the top edge. The second section of the illustration depicts a woman
crouching and picking daffodils next to a body of
water. There are multiple trees in the background, and a flock of birds flies in the
sky.
