Figure descriptions
Two girls and a woman sit in a domestic space. They all smile while watching an interaction
play out between two birds. One
bird (a starling) stands on a sheet, which the woman has draped on the floor. The
other bird perches on a chair, spreads its wings and tail
feathers, and leans forward to threaten the standing bird. The room in which the figures
sit is decorated with framed artwork,
translucent curtains, and a chest of drawers. There is a bay window behind the woman.
In front of the bay window, a plant hangs from
the ceiling and a second plant stands on a small display table. A hat lies on the
ground behind one of the girls. Full-page
