A Christmas Carol

Figure descriptions
A veiled angel hunches over and places a crown on a baby whom she cradles in her lap. The angel has large dark wings which she folds around her body, enveloping herself and the baby. Her hand obscures the baby’s face. The poem caption identifies the angel as “the Angel of Death” and the baby as “Innocence”. Full page.
