A woman (Priscilla) and a man (Aquila) sit together and read from a scroll. Aquila
holds the scroll with his left hand; it
unfurls into Priscilla’s lap. Priscilla holds a lantern above her head with her right
hand, illuminating the scroll. They hold hands
under the scroll. Both figures wear long, flowing robes and head scarves. Aquila has
a long beard and a piece of decorative
jewellery on his head. Priscilla places her barefoot on a rolled-up carpet on the
floor. A large cloth drapes over the wall
