Figure descriptions
A crowd of men walk down, up, or stand on the Grand Staircase of the Chamber of Peers
at the Palace of the Luxembourg.
Multiple men are soldiers or palace guards; they all hold guns. Two men hold their
hats out to a group of soldiers who are walking
down the stairs. There are statues of animals on the sides of the staircase. There
are classical columns and statues of humans on
the walls above the staircase. The tall ceiling is curved and decorated with ornamental
