The Three Statues of Ægina

Figure descriptions
A glowing Grecian man (Chiron) stands at the center of the illustration. He wears a laurel crown. A second man (Pluto) stands behind him in the shadows. He wears a hooded cloak and stretches his arm and cloak over Chiron’s shoulders. A small, indistinct beast stands at Pluto’s feet; it is obscured by shadows. In the background, multiple figures gather around a statue of the goddess Minerva. She is depicted seated, wearing a helmet, and holding a shield. Many figures stand in front of the statue, but two figures sit beside it with their heads bowed to their knees. The scene is brightly lit, and is visible through an open archway behind Chiron and Pluto. 1/2-page illustration contained within a single-ruled border.
