The Viking’s Serf

Figure descriptions
A crowd of men, identified in the poem text as Vikings, gather around a large table. One Viking holds an axe in the air, one drinks, and one gestures towards a small man seated at the head of the table. The man at the head of the table is identified in the poem text as the Vikings’ serf. He holds a musical instrument (a harp), and is the only man in the crowd who is cleanly shaven. The rest of the Vikings have long unruly beards. There is a sword hanging on the wall in the background. 3/4-page illustration contained within a single-ruled border.
