The Fisherman’s Wife,published on 23 April 1864, gives her name as Miss Ada Rogan of Leven, Gourock (NLS 341/310). Ada Frances Rogan, daughter of Francis Rogan of Ireland, married Rev. James Hill Tait in Leven, Gourock, on 28 March 1864. She died in Edinburgh. Biographical information:
