Author information from the Chambers’s Journal ledger entry for Thankfulness (published 30 November 1861), which lists the poet as Miss Frances Rutter, King St., Elswick Lane, Newcastle on T., with payment of 10s 6d (NLS 341/310). Note this is the same address as Robert Rutter, who also published in Chambers’s Journal in 1861. (AC)
