Twenty Years,published on 30 April 1864, which lists the author as Jas [James] Scott, Ballygowan, Kilcool, Greystones, Ireland (NLS 341/310). The Scotts were landowners in Ballygowan, and James Scott was the last of his family to live on the estate. James Scott married Julia Arabella Minchin in Dublin in 1839.
