Selīm I (M)

b. 1470. d. 1520. Nationality: Ottoman. VIAF.
Poet and Ottoman Sultan. Had a reputation as a ruthless leader, and was noted for his love of literature. Wrote a Diwān of Persian poetry. Biographical information: E. J. W.
