Poet. Chambers’s Journal ledger entry for ’Too Late,’ published on 13 July 1889 and signed Florence Simson, lists the author as F. Denison, of the High Street, Ely (NLS Dep 341/370). The 1891 England Census lists Florence A. Simson at this address with her family, born in Ely c. 1866 (Ancestry). “Denison” is presumably an error in the ledger. (AC)
