H.Eldest son of Alfred Tennyson. Born in Twickenham, Middlesex. Educated at Trinity College, Cambridge. Married Audrey Georgina Florence Boyle on 25 June 1884. Served as his father’s private secretary until 1892. Author of the biography of his father, Alfred Lord Tennyson: a Memoir by his Son (1897).
