Became the music critic of The Star in 1891. Editor of Selections from the Poems of Robert Southey (1888). Chambers’s Journal ledger entry for At Waking, published on 23 January 1886, lists the address as 4 Tavern St, Ipswich (NLS Dep 341/369).
