poetry at Upsala in 1805 and 1809. Worked as a pastor at Solna (1809) and Stockholm
(1815). Appointed Dean of Westeras in 1818. Author of Den Swenska Pslamboken, af Konungen Gillad och Stadfästad (The Swedish Hymn-Book, Approved and Confirmed by the King, 1819). 150 of his own hymns were included in this volume, in addition to various
