Theodore Watts.Added “Dunton” to his name in 1896. Gave up practicing as a solicitor after becoming involved with the Pre-Raphaelites, changing careers to become a literary critic and publishing frequent contributions to The Athenaeum. Well connected to major London literary circles, and was close friends with Dante Gabriel Rossetti and Algernon Charles Swinburne. Publications include The Coming of Love, and Other Poems (1897).
