Married Priscilla Maden Wiffen on 16 September 1821. Regular contributor to the Literary Gazette. Founded the newspaper The Standard in 1827. Editor of the United Services Gazette and two annuals: the Literary Souvenir (1824-1835) and the Cabinet of Modern Art (1836-1837). Biographical information: ODNB. (DD)
