The Crown of Roses,published on 3 March 1860, lists the author as Mrs Wilkinson, 28 Dorset Square, London (NLS 341/310). Note that Eileen M. Curran associates this pseudonym with Charlotte A. M. Wilkinson, rather than Charles Wooley who is sometimes mistaken as the author behind this pseudonym, but who never in fact existed; see
