Author of several volumes of poetry including Wood-Notes and Church-Bells (1873), Lyrics; Sylvan and Sacred (1878), Sungleams: Rondeaux and Sonnets (1882), Benedicite, and Other Poems (1889), and Lyra Pastoralis: Songs of Nature, Church and Home (1902).
