M. L. Woods.Née Bradley. Born in Rugby, Warwickshire. Married Rev. Henry George Woods on 19 March 1879. Friends with Tennyson and Matthew Arnold. Active member of the Royal Society of Literature. Wrote about her travels through Spain, France, and South Africa. Author of several volumes of poetry including Lyrics (1888), Lyrics and Ballads (1889), Aëromancy, and Other Poems (1896), Songs (1896), Princess of Hanover (1902), and Collected Poems (1914).
