Poet. Born c. 1864 in Liverpool. Née Heys. Married Abraham Jennings, a master mariner and then, after his death, James Dawson Morphet. Chambers’s Journal ledger entry for The Prayer of the Women, published on 24 March 1900, lists the author as Mrs Jennings, of 13 Church Road West, West Kirby (NLS Dep 341/371).
