Eva D.Daughter of Clarence Mason Dobell, and niece of Sydney Dobell. Born in Charlton Kings, Gloucestershire. Wrote about her experiences while serving as a volunteer nurse with the Voluntary Aid Detachment during World War I, and also wrote poems about her native Gloucestershire. Author of Songs and Sonnets (1904). Editor of A Poet’s Return: Some Later Poems of Lady Margaret Sackville (1940). Author identified from Chambers’s Journal ledger entry for
