Poet and editor. Pseudonym: Eva D. Daughter of Clarence Mason Dobell, and niece of Sydney Dobell. Born in Charlton Kings, Gloucestershire. Wrote about her experiences while serving as a volunteer nurse with the Voluntary Aid Detachment during World War I, and also wrote poems about her native Gloucestershire. Author of Songs and Sonnets (1904). Editor of A Poet’s Return: Some Later Poems of Lady Margaret Sackville (1940). Author identified from Chambers’s Journal ledger entry for The Cotswold Hills, published on 22 July 1899, which lists the poet as Miss E.
