O. Herford.Born in Sheffield but spent childhood in the Chicago and Boston where his father served as a Unitarian minister. Educated at Antioch College, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Slade School in London. Contributor to Harper’s Weekly, Ladies’ Home Journal, and St. Nicholas.
