Figure descriptions
Two girls nurture a lamb in a field. One girl sits on the ground and holds the lamb
in her lap. She leans over and cocks her
head to look closely at its face. The second girl also looks directly at the lamb.
She stands and bends over toward it. The girl
reaches into her apron, which she has fashioned into a basket for holding gathered
plants. There are grasses and wild flowers on the
ground and bushes in the distance. 1/2 page.
