Figure descriptions
A cherub sits atop a plant and holds a sceptre over his shoulder. The sceptre features
two snakes wrapped around the staff.
Butterfly wings extend from the top of the staff. The cherub is superimposed over
a double-ruled circle that is filled with black
ink. The cherub’s left wing extends slightly past the right side of the frame. Branches
with leaves and flowers extend out of the
plant on either side, far past the boundaries of the circular frame. 1/16 page.
