Figure descriptions

girl wears a hat and a dress. The woman wears a
dress, a cape, and a scarf tied around her head. She holds onto a cloth that lies
on the ground, acting as a picnic blanket.
Several other dishes sit on top of the cloth. There are plants on the left side of
the background and a wagon on the right side of
the background. A figure’s arm extends from the wagon and holds a whip or reins above
the horse. The illustration title (which is
also the poem title) is centered above the illustrated scene and is curved in a slight
