Figure descriptions

to the right of the water. The first poem section
is placed to the left of this scene. The second portion of the illustration is placed
below this poem section. In this scene, a sail
boat sails on water; birds fly above the boat. The second poem section is placed to
the right of this scene. The third poem section
is centered on the page below the second poem section, and the fourth is placed in
the bottom-left corner. The third portion of the
illustration is placed in the bottom-right corner of the page. In this scene, a cloaked
man stands next to a low stone wall. He is
surrounded by rocks, trees, and bare plants, and he holds a walking stick. Full-page
illustration contained in a thick border.
Plants grow along the left and top edges of the border and extend into the space of
the illustrations.
