(poem published on 7 January 1865; NLS 341/310), and 44 Beaufort Rd, Edgbaston (poems
published on 9 March 1872 and 6 July 1872; NLS Dep 341/368). Note that the Chambers’sNames and Addresses of Principal Journal Contributors gives his first initial as a G (NLS Dep 341/373). According to The Clergy List for 1866 (p. 393), Rev. John Rowe worked as an Assistant Master at King Edward’s School, Birmingham.
