Religious poet. Born c. 1830. Father, originally from Yorkshire, had an upholsterer’s shop in Holborne, London. Family were members of the Wesleyan Methodist Church. Composed poetry from a young age. Educated at Miss Jolly’s School in London. Author of the well received volume The Dream of Pythagorus, and Other Poems (1854). Biographical information: Rev. B.
