Moved to Suffolk (Norfolk) and Norwich, before settling in Essex to pursue a career of farming under the patronage of several landlords in the areas. Married twice: an unknown woman who died of illness, and Amy Moon. Author of A Hundreth Good Pointes of Husbandrie (1557) and Five Hundreth Points of Good Husbandry United to as many of Good Huswiferie (1573). Biographical information: ODNB. (CC)
