Figure descriptions
The title, poem, and byline letterpress is divided into two sections of roughly equal
lengths and bordered separately within
the illustration. The top edges of these borders both feature the same pattern of
foliates. Flowers and their stems emerge from the
top edges of the borders. The sun shines down from the top-right corner of the illustration
and sunbeams extend behind the flowers.
The flowers and sun are placed against a dark background on the right and an intricate
pattern of curved lines on the left. A banner
decorated with clovers is tied to the bottom of the borders that contain the letterpress.
