The Song of the Sirens.

Come where the woods are wooing1
With fragrant flowers and fair ;2
Come where the doves are cooing3
Love notes on every air.4
Come where the wave is strewing5
With pink-lipped shells the shore ;6
Come where the tide is flowing7
O’er golden-sanded floor.8
Come where the sunlight straying9
Mellows us as we swim ;10
Come where the waters playing11
Dimple each rosy limb.12
Come to us, come where never13
North wind unkindly blows ;14
Come to us, come and ever15
Here in our arms repose.16
Come where no storms are breaking,17
Come where no tempests rend ;18
Come where love knows no waking,19
Come where love knows no end.20
