Figure descriptions
Three figures stand on an arched bridge and look down upon a woman who is standing
at a riverbank. The river winds down the
centre of the illustration, illuminated from behind. There are stones and small plants
in the water and along the banks. On higher
ground, deciduous trees stand on either side of the bridge. Their canopy extends toward
the top of the illustration. In the
distance, two birds fly in the sky. 3/4 page illustration contained within a medium-weight
border. The top corners of the frame are
rounded and the bottom corners are squared.
