Figure descriptions
Illustration is divided into two sections separated by a curved S-shaped cord. The
top section depicts a boy angel standing on
a boat named “Mary.” The boat is surrounded by waves and features a heart on its sail.
The angel holds a telescope to his eye and
looks into the distance. The bottom section depicts a young girl standing on the shore.
She clasps her hands to her heart. The boy
angel from the above section emerges out of the water and holds his arms out to the
girl. His hat flies behind him. The cord that
divides the illustration sections is tied and anchored to a stake on the sea shore.
There are birds in the sky in both sections of
the illustration. 1/2 page.
