Sir Tristem

Figure descriptions
The corpse of a knight, identified in the poem text as Sir Tristrem, lies in a shallow boat. His arms are folded on his chest and he has a sword on his hip. He is dressed in full armour, but his helmet has been lifted to expose his face. The boat features the figurehead of a large swan. The full moon can be seen through the dark clouds. 1/2-page illustration contained within a single-ruled border.
