Sestina

Figure descriptions
The first words of the poem, “I SAW,” are illustrated in hand-drawn lettering on a stylized ribbon. Below the ribbon, there is a circular ornament filled with flowers, leaves, and a second ribbon. This ribbon features the title of the poem, “SESTINA.” Triangles and half-circles form an alternating pattern along the edges of the ornament. Branches with leaves extend from the bottom. 1/16 page.
