The Posie

Figure descriptions
The hand-drawn poem title, “The Posie”, is placed in the top-left corner. A figure sits in a small boat on a body of water and holds a stick oar. There is an urban settlement on the far shore of the body of water. Birds fly in the sky. Dense foliage grows on the shores at the left and right sides of the illustration. A multi-part, semicircular border is superimposed over the rectangular illustration. 1/3-page illustration partially contained within a single-ruled border; the foliage extends outside of the border.
Two horns are intertwined at the center of the illustration. A symmetrical foliate and vegetal pattern emerges from the horns and extends to the left and right sides. Large flowers are placed on either side of the horns. 1/32 page.
