forward; she looks off the side of the boat. The second woman lounges back against
the seat. A boy stands at the bow and lights a
lantern. A man stands at the stern and steers the boat with a long oar. There are
two more boats on the water in the distance. St.
George’s Church stands in the background. Stars fill the dark sky. Full-page illustration
