Figure descriptions
On the left side of the page, leafy branches are tied together in a bundle with ribbon.
At the top of the page, there is a
horizontal bar with a decorative pattern that runs the width of the letterpress. It
features dark waves below an intricate line
design. At the bottom of the page, leaves (which are identical to some of the ones
on attached to the branches) form a pattern
against a dark background. These sections of the illustration are contained within
a single-ruled full-page border, which also
contains the poem and title letterpress.
