Lines on the Portrait of Viscountess Jocelyn

Figure descriptions
Portrait of a young woman, identified in the poem text as the Viscountess Jocelyn, or Frances Elizabeth Jocelyn. Her body is shown in profile view, but her face is slightly turned towards the viewer. She wears an ornate dress that exposes her shoulders, as well as gloves, and a decorative headpiece. The portrait is framed by an ornate border with detailed interwoven lines. In the top-center of the frame, there is a crest with a bird on either side. The border also contains a caption, which is centered below the portrait on a decorative plate. Full-page illustration.
