man sits and reads under a parasol in a
boat. The boat is tied to a post on the shore. The poem title, “JULY”, is centred
at the top of the illustration. Twisting branches
with leaves and flowers form vertical borders on either side of the illustration.
The branches extend along the top edge and meet at
the center above and below the poem title. 1/2-page illustration contained within
a single-ruled border; the top corners of the
border are curved.
