June

Figure descriptions
Two figures walk up a hill and away from a rural settlement. Additional figures stand and walk at the bottom of the hill. There are plants, chickens, and a fence on the hill side. The chickens appear to graze in the grass next to the fence. In the background, behind the settlement, there is an agricultural field lined with trees. A church tower rises above the tree line in the distance. Birds fly in the sky. Plants, flowers, and trees form a decorative border around the left, top, and right sides of the illustration. The border extends below the boundaries of the illustrated scene on the left side. The poem title, “JUNE”, appears in the center at the top of the illustration. The title is surrounded by a pattern of twisted branches and tendrils. 1/2-page illustration partially contained within a single-ruled border. The single-ruled border is curved in the top corners.
