Author of several volumes of poetry including Ismael: An Oriental Tale (1820), Delmour, or, The Tale of a Sylphid (1823), Weeds and Wild Flowers (1825), St Stephens (1860), The Boatman (1864), Poems (1865), and The Lost Tales of Miletus (1866).
